I have been learning to relate to the characters in the text.We have been reading Geogres marvellous medicine.I thought of some words to describe grandma from what I learnt about her in the story.I found this easy because we got help.My next step is to write a paragraph on my own with more intersting words.

Identifying different types of words

My reflection

I have been learning to identify nouns , verbs and ajectives. A noun is

a person place or thing.I found this work intersting because I learnt alot about

nouns verbs and also adjectives.  My next step is to this learning to help me write more interesting stories. 

Cry of the Taniwha Skulla

My reflection 
I found this tricky because I don't know much about Skulla because he does not come in the story that much.I don't think its fair to think that someone's clothes look messy so they are a bad person.

My Reflection 

We went to Te tuhi to do the quaky cat art.  We made this art because we did a play that was about quaky cat.  I found this project fun.  The way we got there was by walking.  I felt exhausted .

We made this art because our main focus is natural 
disasters.first we made the volcano and mountains , it was tricky to cut out, next we painted the sky  with a small cardboard square , we put orange yellow and red to make that colour a, I went over it a lot of times.Next  we sponge painted the grass a golden colour , it has white spaces because it is  part of the affect it makes it look coolish. After 
we  got another small cardboard square this time 
we painted the thin part 
gold and made long wheat
grass at the bottom.Finally 
we glued the volcano on.

Fractions of a Region

 I was learning how to find a fraction of a region.  I felt great about this learning.  I think fraction is fun.  It was a little bit tricky because I got confused - I thought the bottom one was the numerator. Next I want to learn fractions of a set.

Comparing Characters

This is my venn diagram I did it on an ipad its for a story called terabitha we were seeing whats the same and whats not the same with the two main people it was bit tricky and fun 
it took me almost an hour (i know theres not much) it was two kids that found this place were you could meet giants (BUT THEY HATED THEM)I did it with a buddy it was half and hour to do it.

My recount postcard

I was learning to use interesting and exciting words when I write a recount.  I think I used great words like freezing, boiling and deadly.  I could make it better by adding more interesting words.  I need to remember to use these words in my other writing too.
